Georgia Institute Of Technology Student Center

Atlanta, Ga
Construction of a three-story, 64,300 SF business classroom building on 1.7 acres of land

BDR is providing Program Management Services for the $110 million Student Center project. The new campus center is a combination of new construction and extensive renovation. Two new buildings will be constructed, and one existing building will undergo a complete renovation. In total, the center will be 300,000 SF, and will accommodate student and faculty programs for recreation, leadership, food, activities, and other student engagement programs. BDR is assisting Georgia Tech to implement a cuttingedge BIM 5D planning and design process. Together with the Design-Build team, the collaborative effort is leveraged the newest 5D software tools to integrate precise costmodeling throughout the earliest stages of planning and conceptual design. The project will be completed in Fall 2022.

BDR continues to be responsible for major coordination efforts between all construction activities and the ongoing operation of this important student support facility by working closely with all Department heads and Auxiliary Service Directors.

BDR is providing Program Management services for all phases of the project from our Atlanta, Georgia office.

The Owner is satisfied with the Program Scope, Cost, and adherence to the tight development schedule.
