Expansion and construction of a 60,000 SF humanities building with a $19 Million budget

BDR is currently in the process of working through the enabling projects to include the relocation of central carpool, construction of seven temporary classrooms, relocation of the art department to a renovated building, and partial demolition of existing Riley building. The expansion and new construction of the 60,000 SF Upper School humanities building will house 6 departments and include:

• State-of-the-art learning commons
• Flexible classrooms
• Innovative instructional technology
• Interdepartmental offices
• Intentional collaborative learning and social space
• College counseling offices
• Campus shop

This innovative building will overlook a large green space and a central courtyard that will create an impressive new entryway, strengthening the campus’ feeling of community.
